Charco de los Sargos is the place located in the eastern part of the northern coast of El Hierro, in the El Golfo bay.

It's a small, separated and almost virgin bay, in which the coastal rocks form the various water reservoirs. These stony pools are perfect for swimming. The waves here are moderate and the bay is rather intimate.

Its name comes from the Sargo - the specie of perciformes fishes, which is very popular in this zone.

To Charco de los Sargos you can get only on foot. You have to get to the Piscinas de La Maceta and from there go by the coastal road in the direction to the west.
