Mirador de la Llanía is located in the central, mountainous part of El Hierro, in the vicinity of the highest peak of the island - Malpaso.


This mirador is situated inside the beautiful laurel forest Laurisilva, on an altitude of 1360 metres above sea level. From here extends a fantastic view of the entire valley of Valle del Golfo and the neighbouring mountain peaks. The visibility may be a little limited, because of the mists, that often appears here. They are particularly frequent in winters.

Driving from Valverde to La Fronetra through the San Andrés or in the opposite direction, we get to the small car park marked as La Llanía. From here the short footpath leads us to the Mirador.
